Prahlada and Hiranyakashipu Chapter 7 — Prahlada's Reign and Peace. After Lord Narasimha calms down, Prahlada praises him, and then he becomes king, establishing peace in the world.

Prahlada's Rule and Peace

Lord Narasimha's anger had subsided, Hiranyakashipu had met his end. The entire universe was immersed in a terrifying silence. Gods and sages were trembling with fear, none had the courage to go before the radiance of Lord Narasimha. Only one child, Prahlada, could establish peace in them.

Praise of Devotee Prahlada

Prahlada stepped forward to prostrate himself at the feet of Lord Narasimha. His heart was filled with devotion, tears of love in his eyes. He knew that this angry form was the result of his father's wicked deeds, and that the Lord's heart was full of compassion. He looked towards the Lord without any fear, his small body shining with the radiance of Lord Narasimha.

Prahlada began his praise with his voice, "O Lord Narasimha, you are the protector of the universe. Your power is infinite, your love is boundless. I am a humble child who is unable to describe your glory, but my heart is dedicated to you. My father refused to recognize you, and he committed terrible sins. You incarnated to protect Dharma. Now be calm, Lord. Now this world needs your grace." His praise was filled with devotion, humility, and surrender.

At that moment, Lord Narasimha's eyes softened somewhat. He called Prahlada to him and seated him in his lap. All of Prahlada's fears vanished with his touch. The Lord blessed Prahlada's head with his hand. Lord Narasimha said, "O Prahlada, I am pleased with your devotion. You have calmed me. Your heart is pure, and you are my beloved devotee. Ask for a boon, child."

Prahlada joined his hands and said, "O Lord, I do not want any boon. My only prayer is that you forgive my father. He had turned away from you due to ignorance."

Prahlada's Coronation

Lord Narasimha said, "O Prahlada, your father has been forgiven. Not only that, but all the sins of your seven generations will be washed away from today. You will become the king of this kingdom, and you will nurture the people by following the path of Dharma." Saying this, Lord Narasimha disappeared.

The gods showered flowers from the sky, and the sages chanted 'Victory to Lord Vishnu'. Prahlada was seated on the throne. Guru Shukracharya coronated him with Vedic mantras. Prahlada humbly accepted the throne. His heart was filled with gratitude towards Lord Vishnu.

Prahlada became a righteous ruler. He re-established Dharma in his kingdom. He enforced the Varna system and inspired everyone to live according to their deeds. He encouraged Yagya, penance, and charity. Prahlada inspired the people to worship Lord Vishnu, and peace and prosperity resided in his kingdom.

Prahlada never caused suffering to anyone during his reign. He always walked the path of justice. Everyone was happy in his kingdom. He protected cows and Brahmins. Prahlada emerged as an ideal king, who never lost his identity as a devotee. The grace of Lord Vishnu always remained upon him.

Peace for Ages

Prahlada ruled skillfully for many years. His devotion and righteousness made his kingdom prosperous. For generations to come, Prahlada's name became immortal as a symbol of Dharma and justice. He proved that Lord Vishnu always protects his devotees, no matter how adverse the circumstances may be. Prahlada's story still inspires us to walk the path of devotion, courage, and Dharma. This story will continue to be told for ages, and will empower the devotees of Lord Vishnu.

Summary of Chapter 7: This chapter describes Prahlada's praise of Lord Narasimha, his becoming king, and his righteous rule. It shows that God is pleased with true devotion and protects his devotees, and that following Dharma brings peace and prosperity.
