The Suffering of Creation and Indra

Since time immemorial, the reign of darkness prevailed. There was no direction, no light. Only a deep silence pervaded the void, within which the seeds of creation lay dormant, waiting, awaiting a divine touch. This is the story of the sprouting of those seeds and the arrival of Indra in heaven, a ray of hope for gods and men.

The Cry of Creation

Imagine a sky where there are no stars, where the sun and moon do not exist. The Earth was a molten ball of lava, floating in space. It was pitch dark everywhere, and every creature was groaning in constant pain. In this chaotic state, a desperate call for life echoed, awaiting a powerful force that could shape this world. This lament was so intense that it reached the hearts of the gods, causing tremors even in their celestial abodes. The suffering of Mother Earth was unbearable, and this suffering permeated every particle of the universe.

Devrishi Narada said with concern, "What is this cry? This is the suffering of the Earth, Brahmadev! Can we ignore it?" Brahmadev replied with deep worry, "No, Narada. This suffering will disrupt the balance of creation. We must do something."

The Rise of Indra

At that very moment, a wondrous event occurred in the celestial realm. Aditi, the mother of the gods, gave birth to a radiant son – Indra. His birth was accompanied by a divine light that illuminated the entire celestial abode. With his arrival, a new hope surged in the hearts of the gods. Indra's power was incomparable; his arms were mighty, and his eyes were filled with brilliance. He ascended the throne of the celestial realm, and his radiance spread in all directions.

Indra asked his father, Devaraj, "Father, what is this suffering that pervades the Earth? I wish to alleviate that suffering." Devaraj smiled and said, "Son, you have the power to remove that suffering. You will lead the gods and protect creation." Indra's heart was filled with resolve. He vowed to end the chaos on Earth and protect heaven.

The Search for the Hero of the Gods

The gods in the celestial realm were worried. The atrocities of the Asuras were increasing, and they needed a hero who could lead them and bring them victory. Indra's arrival had ignited their hope. They chose Indra as their king, and Indra resolved to unite the gods and prepare them for war against the Asuras. The gods placed their faith in Indra's power and awaited the dawn of a new era under his leadership. They knew that Indra was the power that could free the world from the fear of the Asuras.
