Radha Krishna Love Story Chapter 5 — Prophecy of Kansa's Demise. Kansa learns that Krishna will be the cause of his death, leading him to make numerous attempts to kill him.

Prophecy of Kansa's Demise

In Vrindavan, the depth of Radha and Krishna's love was increasing. The hearts of the Gopis were captivated by Krishna's sweet smile and the tune of his flute. However, far away in Mathura, a dark cloud of fear had enveloped Kansa's heart. He was afraid of his death, which was looming before him as a prophecy.

Fearful Kansa

Kansa, the king of Mathura, was known for his cruelty and power. But the prophecy had hollowed him from within. He had heard that his sister Devaki's eighth son would kill him. Distraught with fear, he imprisoned Devaki and Vasudeva and killed all their sons as soon as they were born. Every moment he was haunted by the fear of his death, his nights were sleepless. Kansa's court was always filled with fear and conspiracies. Lines of anger and worry were always visible on his face.

"This prophecy will not let me sleep," Kansa said to his personal minister. "I must kill that eighth son at any cost. Even if I have to devastate the entire earth for it." His minister said fearfully, "Your Majesty, we will follow whatever orders you give." Kansa's eyes turned red with anger. "I need a solution immediately! Any solution!"

Conspiracy to Kill Krishna

Kansa hatched many conspiracies to kill Krishna. He sent one demon after another to Vrindavan, but each time they were defeated by Krishna's amazing power. Putana, Trinavarta, Bakasura, Aghasura - all were killed by Krishna. With the death of each demon, Kansa's fear deepened even more. He could not understand how a small child could possess so much power. He summoned his most trusted warriors and asked them to plan to kill Krishna.

Every time Kansa hatched a new conspiracy, Krishna responded with his divine plays. Krishna not only killed the demons, but also won the hearts of the people of Vrindavan with his divine smile and love. As Kansa's conspiracies failed, the love and faith of the people towards Krishna grew. It was Krishna's grace that Vrindavan was saved from every crisis.

Akrura's Arrival in Gokul

Finally, Kansa made another plan. He sent Akrura, who was a respected member of the Yadu dynasty, to Gokul. Kansa ordered Akrura to bring Krishna and Balarama to Mathura. Kansa thought that he would easily kill Krishna in Mathura. Akrura was bound to obey Kansa's orders, but he was worried in his heart because he was a devotee of Krishna and the idea of killing him did not appeal to him. He knew that Krishna was no ordinary child, but God himself.

Akrura's arrival in Gokul marked the beginning of a new journey. He will tell Krishna and Balarama about Kansa's invitation, which will pave the way for the journey to Mathura. This journey will prove to be a turning point in Krishna's life, which will lead him to the final confrontation with Kansa. The departure from Vrindavan to Mathura will be a test of love and devotion. Krishna's plays will now enter a new dimension.

Summary of Chapter 5: This chapter describes Kansa's fear and conspiracies to kill Krishna. Kansa is distraught with the fear of his death and sends demons to kill Krishna, but Krishna defeats them with his plays. Finally, Kansa sends Akrura to bring Krishna and Balarama to Mathura, which signals the beginning of the journey to Mathura. This chapter teaches us that ego and evil always lead to fear and destruction, while devotion and love always bring victory.
