In the previous chapter, we had the first glimpse of Radha, a divine experience that filled her heart with love for Krishna. Now, on the sacred land of Vrindavan, this love was slowly sprouting, like a seed sprouting in the earth from the sun's rays. The relationship between Radha and Krishna was deepening, each day revealing new depths of their love.

The Divine Night of Raas Leela

It was the night of Sharad Purnima, the sky was bathed in moonlight and the land of Vrindavan was fragrant with scented flowers. The hearts of the Gopis were immersed in Krishna's love, their hearts were eager for that sweet union, which they had been waiting for for years. The Yamuna River was flowing calmly, as if it too was eager to see this divine scene. A mysterious music was resonating in the air, which was captivating the minds of the Gopis and drawing them towards Krishna.

Radha said to her friends, "How supernatural is tonight! My heart is yearning to dance, as if Krishna himself is calling me. Are you all also experiencing what I am experiencing?" Lalita replied, "Yes Radha, we are also feeling that divine attraction. Come, let us go to Krishna, and fill this night with love and devotion."

The Intoxicating Tone of the Flute

Suddenly, the atmosphere was filled with a wonderful sound - the sound of Krishna's flute! This tone was so captivating that the Gopis forgot everything and ran in the direction from which the sound was coming. Krishna was standing under a Kadamba tree on the banks of the Yamuna River, each note emanating from his flute was full of love and divinity. The Raas Leela began! Krishna danced with every Gopi, as if he was personally connected with each one of them.

The Gopis were blessed to receive Krishna's touch. All their sorrows and worries disappeared, and they drowned in the ocean of love and joy. By Krishna's grace, they all began to feel that Krishna was dancing only with them, which reflected the depth of their love. Radha, close to Krishna, was considering herself blessed. Her heart was completely immersed in Krishna's love, and she had no consciousness of herself.

Radha Absorbed in Love

Radha's mind was so absorbed in Krishna's love that she had no awareness of the world. She saw nothing, heard nothing except Krishna. Her every thought, every feeling, every action was dedicated to Krishna. In this loving atmosphere of Vrindavan, the love of Radha and Krishna became even more intense. This love was a bond that was beyond the limits of time and space, which was the union of two souls. This love is the basis of creation and this love will give rise to future events, the most important of which will be the prediction of Kansa's death and Krishna's departure to Mathura.
