Radha Katha – Chapter 6: Reunion and Divine Union

Reunion and Divine Union
News of Reunion
In Mathura, Shri Krishna's radiance was growing day by day. Memories of Vrindavan flickered across his face, as if hiding a deep secret. Uddhav, Shri Krishna's most trusted friend, understood his restlessness. One day, Shri Krishna called Uddhav near him, his eyes filled with anticipation and hope.
“Uddhav,” Shri Krishna said in a soft voice, “my heart yearns for Radha. I know she must be burning in the fire of separation in Vrindavan. You go, Uddhav, and inform Radha of my reunion. Tell her that I will come soon. Tell her that love never dies, it always lives – no matter the distance.”
Union of Radha and Krishna
Uddhav immediately set off for Vrindavan. When he met Radha, he saw that her beauty had become even more radiant in the fire of separation, as if refined into gold through penance. Uddhav conveyed Shri Krishna's message. Tears welled up in Radha's eyes, but this time they were tears of joy, not sorrow.
A few days later, Shri Krishna returned to Vrindavan. The entire Vrindavan was immersed in a festival. The vines turned green, flowers bloomed, and the Yamuna's water became nectar. Radha and Shri Krishna's eyes met, and it was as if the whole world stood still. That union was not just of two lovers, it was the union of the soul with the Supreme Soul, of devotion with the Divine. Radha's compassion had bound Shri Krishna. Their love sustained the creation.
Intervention of Brahma
The union of Radha and Krishna was so divine and extraordinary that it began to be discussed even in the heavens. Lord Brahma, the creator of the universe, himself arrived in Vrindavan to witness the scene. He saw that Radha and Krishna were not just two individuals, but the embodiment of love, power, and devotion. He also saw that their union was infusing new energy into creation.
Lord Brahma then prayed to Radha and Krishna to reveal their complete divine form, so that the entire universe could know their infinite love and glory. Radha and Krishna accepted his prayer, and a wondrous light emanated from their bodies, illuminating all of Vrindavan. This light was a symbol of love and devotion, which would last for eternity. It was this love whose power united Radha and Krishna, and by this love, the entire universe was sustained.
Summary of Chapter 6: In this chapter, Radha and Krishna are reunited, bringing an atmosphere of joy to Vrindavan. Through the intervention of Lord Brahma, the significance of their divine love is revealed, conveying the message that true love connects the soul with the Supreme Soul.
