Establishment of Deshnok

In the previous chapter, we witnessed the wondrous miracles and blessings of Karni Mata. Now, the time had come for the Mother to choose a permanent abode for her devotees, a place where her grace would forever reside. A new chapter was about to begin in the land of Marwar, the chapter of Deshnok's establishment.

The Choice of Deshnok

The golden rays of the sun danced upon the sand dunes, and the rustling of Khejri leaves mingled with the gentle breeze. Karni Mata, along with her followers, arrived at a special place. This location, besides being serene and secluded, was also brimming with spiritual energy. The Mother's divine vision had recognized the sanctity of this land. Her heart filled with joy, as if she had found her long-cherished home. An invisible power was felt in the air, bestowing peace upon all.

The Mother said to her followers, "This land, Deshnok, will be our karmabhumi (land of action). Here, we will all live together, and here, our devotees will find peace and prosperity. This place will be known by my name, and its glory will be sung for ages to come. Whoever comes here with a true heart will have all their desires fulfilled."

Foundation Stone of the Temple

At an auspicious moment, the Mother herself laid the foundation stone of the temple with her own hands. The atmosphere resonated with chants and devotional songs. Devotees chanted the Mother's name, and their hearts were filled with reverence. The Mother placed a simple stone, but she infused it with her divine power. That stone became not just the foundation of the temple, but a symbol of compassion and faith. While laying the foundation of the temple, the Mother prayed for future generations, that this place would always remain a center of peace and harmony.

The Mother said, "This temple will not just be a building, but a center of love, kindness, and devotion. Every person who comes here, regardless of their caste, religion, or sect, will find peace. My power will always reside here, and my devotees can come here to find solutions to their problems."

Blessing the Village

After laying the foundation stone of the temple, Karni Mata blessed the entire village. She bestowed upon the people of Deshnok boons of prosperity, health, and happiness. She said that this village would never face a shortage of food and water, and its people would always be happy. The Mother pledged to protect the village and assured them of protection from all kinds of evil forces. The people of Deshnok were immensely pleased with the Mother's blessings and resolved to dedicate their lives at her feet.

The Mother explained, "This village will not just be my dwelling place, but it will also be the home of my devotees. The people here will be my family members, and I will always protect them. You all live together with love and harmony, and always help others. This is my blessing." Karni Mata's blessings permeated every particle of Deshnok, and this village became a sacred and prosperous place.
