Curses and Unwavering Faith
A Poor Devotee's Plea
[In a small village, lived a poor woman named Rama. She was barely making ends meet with her husband and children. Tired of poverty and hardships, Rama prayed to God for help. Her heart was filled with devotion and faith, and she was searching for a way to bring happiness and prosperity to her family. Rama told her problem to the village priest, and he advised her to observe the fast of Santoshi Mata.]
The Old Woman's Conspiracy
[Rama began observing the fast of Santoshi Mata with proper rituals. Every Friday, she would worship the Mata, listen to the story, and offer prasad with devotion. Gradually, happiness and peace began to enter her home. Seeing this, an old woman in the village became envious. She could not bear to see Rama happy and planned to disrupt Rama's fast. The old woman incited Rama's children to eat sour things, whereas consuming sour things was forbidden during the fast.]
The Power of Faith
