Ram Setu Construction Story, Chapter 4 — The Beginning of Bridge Construction. Under the guidance of Nal and Neel, the Vanara army begins the construction of Ram Setu, stones are thrown into the sea and begin to float by chanting the name of Ram.

Beginning of the Bridge Construction

After the prayer to the Ocean God, a wave of joy spread through the Vanara army due to the grace of Shri Ram. Now was the time to begin the most difficult task, the construction of the bridge to Lanka. Filled with enthusiasm, the Vanara army, chanting the name of Lord Ram, moved forward and gathered on the seashore.

Skill of Nal and Neel

The golden rays of the sun were illuminating that vast seashore. Among the Vanara army, Nal and Neel both stood with their amazing abilities. Nal, the son of Vishwakarma, and Neel, a part of Agni Dev, were both amazing craftsmen. They had the power in their hands to make stones float. Their faces were shining with confidence and devotion to Lord Ram. Every Vanara saw a ray of hope in them, knowing that these two brave warriors would now make this impossible task possible.

Nal said to Neel, "Neel, now is the time we have all been waiting for. Let us begin the construction of this bridge by taking the name of Lord Ram. Together, we will make this task successful." Neel nodded in agreement and said, "Nal, you are like my elder brother. Under your guidance, we will surely obey the command of Lord Ram and build the bridge."

Stones Floating, Miracle of Ram's Name

First of all, large stones were broken and leveled. Nal and Neel began writing the name of Shri Ram on those stones. The Vanara army also began chanting "Ram Ram" with enthusiasm. As soon as the stone with the name of Shri Ram written on it was dropped into the ocean, it began to float! Seeing this sight, the Vanara army was astonished. They understood that it was the glory of Lord Ram's name, due to which even stones were floating in the water. Every stone, on which Ram's name was inscribed, kept floating on the water without sinking.

Shri Ram smiled seeing all this. He cast his gracious gaze upon his devotees. It was indeed the result of his power and devotion that the impossible was becoming possible. The glory of the name "Ram" is infinite, everyone saw it with their own eyes that day. Lord Ram thought in his mind, "The faith and belief of my devotees will complete this bridge."

Progress of Bridge Construction

Day and night, the Vanara army remained engaged in the construction of the bridge. Nal and Neel continued to guide like skilled artisans, and the Vanaras kept joining those stones one after the other. The bridge was constantly moving forward, as if an amazing path of Ram devotion was opening up. Every stone was connected to the power of Ram's name, every Vanara's heart was filled with the love of Lord Ram. It was not just a bridge of stones, it was becoming a symbol of unwavering faith in Ram.

The construction of the bridge was progressing rapidly, but there was still a long distance to reach Lanka. Overcoming the obstacles ahead and facing Ravana's army was still to come. In the next chapter, we will see how the Vanara army will face the challenges ahead and how Lord Ram will guide them.
