Radha Krishna Love Story Chapter 6 — Journey to Mathura. Krishna goes to Mathura with Balarama, where they kill Kansa and free the people of Mathura from his tyranny.

Journey to Mathura

Joy spread in Gokul with the prophecy of Kansa's death, but Nand Baba and Yashoda Maiya's hearts were troubled just by the thought of Krishna and Balram going to Mathura. The arrival of Akrur Ji had further intensified this concern. They knew that the prophecy was bound to come true, and Krishna's departure to Mathura was the beginning of the end for Kansa.

Departure for Mathura

Morning arrived, and the sky was filled with redness. The hearts of the Gopis were saddened by Krishna's separation. Krishna and Balram, adorned in new clothes, were ready to board the chariot. Yashoda Maiya hugged both of them, tears flowing. Nand Baba applied a tilak on Krishna's forehead and blessed him. A sea of sorrow had engulfed Gokul.

Yashoda Maiya lamented, "My dear son, how will you live without me? Who will feed you butter? Who will remind you of me?" Krishna wiped away his mother's tears, "Mother, I will always reside in your heart. Do not worry, I will return soon." Balram also consoled Yashoda and said that he would take care of Krishna.

War with Kansa's Wrestlers

Upon reaching Mathura, Akrur Ji arranged for Krishna and Balram to rest at a place. Then he went to Kansa's court and informed him of Krishna-Balram's arrival. Kansa was filled with anger and ordered his wrestlers, Chanur and Mushtik, to fight Krishna-Balram. The next day, Krishna and Balram arrived at the arena where Kansa had organized a wrestling match for them. Chanur challenged Krishna as soon as he arrived, "Hey boy, come and fight me! I have heard you are a great warrior."

Krishna said with a smile, "I am just a boy, Chanur. How can I fight you?" Chanur taunted, "I have heard many stories of your bravery, let's see how much strength you have today." Then the battle began. Krishna amazed Chanur with his power. Balram defeated Mushtik. Kansa was enraged, his plan was failing. Krishna's play was boundless, he killed Kansa's wrestlers, creating an atmosphere of fear in the arena.

Kansa's Assassination

After the wrestlers were killed, Krishna went straight towards Kansa. Kansa got up from his throne and started running, but Krishna caught him. Kansa was trembling with fear. Krishna grabbed him by the hair and threw him down from the throne. Then he killed Kansa. Joy spread in the city of Mathura with the killing of Kansa. The people were freed from fear. Devaki and Vasudev, who had been imprisoned for years, were freed and they hugged Krishna.

Krishna assured Devaki and Vasudev that Dharma would now be established in Mathura. He reinstated Ugrasen on the throne and promised to provide justice to the people. Krishna's aura was so divine that even after Kansa's death, everyone felt his guidance and protection. This was the end of Kansa's sins, and the beginning of the restoration of Dharma.

Krishna's Coronation

After the killing of Kansa, Krishna gave a new direction to Mathura. By re-establishing Ugrasen on the throne, he instilled faith in the hearts of the people. Now, Krishna had to play his role as a skilled politician. In the next chapter, we will see how Krishna works for the welfare of the people and makes Mathura a prosperous state, making it clear that Kansa's death was not just an end, but the beginning of a new era.

Summary of Chapter 6: In this chapter, Krishna and Balram go to Mathura, fight Kansa's wrestlers, and finally kill Kansa. This is a symbol of the victory of righteousness over unrighteousness and shows that God always protects his devotees and destroys evil from the world.
