In the previous chapter, we saw how the child Naina revealed the secret of a miraculous cow's milk yielding. It was an astonishing event for the villagers of Rani village, but it was just the beginning. Beyond this wondrous secret, another great mystery was about to unfold, one that would change King Bir Chand's life forever.

Naina's Arrival in the Royal Court

The royal court was assembled. King Bir Chand was seated on his throne, surrounded by ministers, courtiers, and distinguished citizens. The atmosphere was a mixture of curiosity and solemnity. Today, the young cowherd girl Naina, about whom wondrous tales were circulating, had been summoned to the royal court. Everyone wanted to know what was so special about this girl. Naina's face radiated brilliance, her eyes were full of confidence, yet she possessed childlike innocence. Adorned in golden attire, Naina slowly approached the king and respectfully bowed to him.

King Bir Chand asked affectionately, "Child, we have heard that you have uncovered a wondrous secret. Is this true?" Naina replied in a calm voice, "Your Majesty, the cow does not know for whom she is yielding milk. She is merely driven by a mother's affection. But that milk was seeping into the earth, nourishing a power, a power that had been silent for years." King Bir Chand and the courtiers listened to Naina's words with astonishment.

The Goddess's Revelation and the King's Surprise

With her divine vision, Naina informed the king that at the very spot where the cow was yielding milk, the Shakti Peeth of Goddess Sati was established. She said, "Your Majesty, there is a divine flame there, hidden beneath the earth. This is the place of Goddess Sati, who immolated herself when insulted at her father's yajna. Her power resides here, and she is eager to bless her devotees." Every word that came from Naina's mouth stunned everyone present in the assembly. King Bir Chand could not believe his eyes. Was such a great secret truly hidden in his kingdom?

At that very moment, a divine light emanated from Naina's body. Her eyes began to glow, and the mantras of Goddess Sati echoed from her lips. A divine fragrance spread through the atmosphere, and everyone felt as if the Goddess Shakti herself had manifested before them. King Bir Chand knelt and bowed with reverence. Naina (in the form of the Goddess) blessed the king and said, "Rajan, this is my place. Build my temple here, and pave the way for my devotees to receive my grace." By the grace of Goddess Sati, the king's heart was filled with devotion.

The Decision to Build the Temple

As per the Goddess's command, King Bir Chand immediately decided to build a temple at that location. He ordered his ministers to make all the necessary arrangements for the construction of the temple. A festive atmosphere spread throughout the kingdom. People began to chant the glories of Goddess Sati. King Bir Chand knew that this task would not be easy, but the Goddess's blessings were with him. This was the beginning of a new era, in which the light of devotion and faith would spread throughout the kingdom. Now, the work of temple construction will begin, which will be full of many challenges, but by the grace of the Goddess, everything will be possible.
