Reunion and Reconciliation

In the previous chapter, we saw how Tara, bound by the attraction of the Moon, struggled. After a long divine conflict, destiny was about to take a new turn. There was unrest among the gods and sages, as this love triangle had disrupted the balance in the universe. Now, Brahma Ji's intervention was the only hope.

Brahma's Divine Intervention

There was an atmosphere of tension in Swarga Loka. Brihaspati, known for his wisdom and patience, was deeply shaken by this event. Disappointment and pain were clearly visible on his face. Worried gods and sages prayed to Brahma Ji to intervene in this situation. Brahma Ji, the creator of the universe, understanding the gravity of the situation, readily agreed to intervene. He set off towards Chandraloka on his swan ride, his divine radiance spreading in all directions.

Brahma Ji said to the Moon, "Moon, you are going beyond your limits. Tara is Brihaspati's wife, and you must return her. This is a violation of cosmic law." The Moon replied, "But Brahma Ji, Tara herself has shown faith in me. How can I abandon her?"

Tara's Return to Brihaspati

Brahma Ji summoned Tara and asked her, "Tara, tell the truth, what does your heart desire? With whom do you wish to stay? Do you want to return to your husband, Guru Brihaspati, who has always given you knowledge and respect?" Tara sank into deep contemplation. The time spent with the Moon had brought her happiness, but she also remembered her duty and love towards Brihaspati. Finally, she said to Brahma Ji, "I wish to return to my husband. I have made a great mistake."

As per Brahma Ji's command, the Moon had to hand over Tara to Brihaspati. Brihaspati's face lit up with relief and love. He accepted Tara, but a deep wound remained in his heart. Brihaspati embraced forgiveness in his heart. His wisdom taught him that anger and revenge lead to destruction, while only through forgiveness and compassion can the world be blessed. He embraced Tara and said, "Tara, you have returned, that is the most important thing for me."

Birth of the Planet Budh

When Tara returned to Brihaspati, she was pregnant with the Moon's son, the planet Budh. Budh was growing in his mother's womb, symbolizing the union of the Moon and Tara. When Budh was born, he was blessed with extraordinary beauty and intellect. His birth surprised the gods and sages. The planet Budh came to be known as the deity of knowledge, intellect, and speech.

Brihaspati also accepted Budh as his son. Although Budh was not of his own blood, Brihaspati imparted knowledge and education to him. He taught that no matter how difficult the circumstances, the path of knowledge and dharma is the true path. Brihaspati proved with his love and compassion that family bonds are not just formed by blood, but also by love and trust. Budh respected Brihaspati as a father and received lessons in dharma and ethics from him.
