Bahucharaji Mata Katha – Chapter 2: Bapuji's Wickedness and Marriage Proposal

Bapuji's Cruel Nature and Marriage Proposal
The previous chapter was about the birth of Bahucharaji Mata and her peaceful, divine nature. We saw that from childhood, she had a unique divine glow and simplicity. Now, the story moves forward, and we will learn about a man named Bapuji, who became a major obstacle in Bahucharaji's life, and because of whom she had to make a difficult decision.
Bapuji's Cruel Nature
Bapuji was the son of the richest landlord in the village. His family owned a lot of land and wealth, but there was not even a little kindness in Bapuji's heart. He was cruel, arrogant, and disrespectful towards women. He never helped anyone and always thought only about his own benefit. His eyes were filled with desire and his mind was full of greed. The poor villagers were always afraid of him because he would insult and trouble them over small matters.
"This world is in my hands," Bapuji often said to his servants. "Whatever I want, I will get. No one can stop me." He was proud of his father's wealth and believed that he could get any woman through his money and power.
The Marriage Proposal
One day, Bapuji saw Bahucharaji in the village temple. Bahucharaji was singing devotional songs with her sisters. Her face was peaceful and radiant, and her voice had a divine attraction. Seeing her beauty, Bapuji became fascinated and decided at that moment to make her his wife. He immediately sent his servants to Bahucharaji's father with a marriage proposal. Bapuji thought that he could easily get Bahucharaji with the power of his wealth.
At that moment, Bahucharaji understood Bapuji's evil intentions through her divine power. She realized that Bapuji's proposal was only filled with desire and arrogance. She prayed to God in her heart and asked for strength to face this difficult situation. There was compassion on her face, but her eyes showed strong determination.
Bahucharaji and Her Sisters Oppose
When Bapuji's proposal reached Bahucharaji's father, he became very sad. He knew about Bapuji's cruel nature and did not want to give his daughter to him. But he was a simple farmer and was afraid of Bapuji's anger. He discussed this matter with his wife and daughters. Bahucharaji and her sisters strongly opposed this marriage.
Bahucharaji said to her father, "Father, I cannot marry such an evil person. I want to dedicate my life to serving the poor and helpless." Her sisters also supported her and said that they would never leave Bahucharaji alone.
"Father," Bahucharaji said, "my marriage is not an ordinary event. It is the most important decision of my life. I want you to allow me to speak my heart. I know Bapuji is powerful, but God is more powerful than him. We do not need to be afraid." Her sisters also said together, "Sister is not alone, we are all with her!" Bahucharaji's words had a divine strength that gave courage to her father.
Chapter 2 Summary: In this chapter, we learned about Bapuji's cruelty and the marriage proposal that came before Bahucharaji. Bahucharaji, along with her sisters, opposed this proposal, teaching us that we should raise our voice against injustice and stay firm on our principles. This chapter also shows that divine power always supports truth.
