Radha Krishna Love Story – Chapter 9: Krishna's Departure from the Body

Krishna's Departure from the Body
After the end of the Mahabharata war, an era came to an end. Dharma was established, but countless lives were sacrificed in that establishment. An eerie silence prevailed in Dwarka, as if it were the calm before a storm. Even amidst that silence, Krishna was seeing signs of the future. He knew his time was near.
Final Rest in the Forest
Far from Dwarka, in the forest of Prabhas region, Krishna sat in solitude. His body was advancing towards old age, but his eyes still held the same radiance, the same compassion. There was peace in the forest, the chirping of birds, and a cool breeze was blowing. Krishna closed his eyes and took a deep breath. He remembered Radha, her immaculate love, her endless wait. In his mind, he communicated with Radha, "Radhe, the time for union has come."
Just then, a Bhil hunter, Jara, wandered into that forest. He saw a shining figure from afar. He thought it was a deer sitting. Without thinking, Jara shot his arrow.
One Arrow, One Leela
The arrow struck Krishna directly in the sole of his foot. Krishna took a deep breath and opened his eyes. Jara realized his mistake. Terrified, he fell at Krishna's feet, "O Lord, I have made a terrible mistake. Please forgive me." Krishna lifted him up and said, "This was destined to happen, Jara. It is part of my Leela. It is not your fault." Krishna decided to leave his body. With this departure from the body, the Kali Yuga was to begin.
Krishna gave up his life through his Yogamaya. His divine light merged into the sky. A peace spread throughout the universe, as if nature itself was mourning. Flowers began to rain down from the heavens. Krishna's departure from the body was not just the abandonment of the body, but the end of an era, and the beginning of a new era. It was a testament to his love, his dharma, and his Leela. Uddhava and other loved ones began to lament. What would this world be like without Krishna's guidance and love? But they knew, Krishna would always remain in their hearts.
Radha's Union
When Radha received the news of Krishna's departure from the body, her heart was torn apart. Her life, without Krishna's love, was meaningless. She set out towards the same forest where Krishna had left his body. Radha chanted Krishna's name, and tears flowed from her eyes. Her soul was eager to meet Krishna's soul.
As soon as Radha reached Krishna's mortal body, her body slowly began to transform into light. Radha, in Krishna's love, merged into Krishna himself. This was the pinnacle of love, where lover and beloved become one, where there is no distinction, only love remains. This was the victory of love and dharma. The love of Krishna and Radha is immortal, and will always remain immortal.
Summary of Chapter 9: In this chapter, Krishna departs from his body, which marks the end of an era and the beginning of Kali Yuga. Radha's merging into Krishna reveals the ultimate state of love, which teaches that true love is beyond the body, the union of souls, and love is the basis of dharma.
