The Divinity of Arasur Mountain

Rising from the sandy plains of Jaisalmer, Arasur mountain stood like a silent sentinel, its peak touching the clouds. Lush green forests spread across its slopes, as if nature itself had woven a beautiful canopy for the throne of Ambaji Mata. When the sun's rays fell on the mountain, it seemed as if golden rain was showering, and the sweet music of birds made the atmosphere even more divine. There was a wonderful peace and sanctity in the air, which filled every visitor's heart with reverence. Devotees, chanting "Jai Ambe! Jai Ambe!", moved towards the mountain, their faces glowing with hope and devotion.

An elderly woman, slowly climbing with the support of a stick, said to her grandson, "Son, this mountain is not made of ordinary stones and soil. It is alive with the power of Ambaji Mata. Her grace is in every stone, her blessings are in every breeze." The grandson asked in wonder, "Grandmother, is it true?" The old woman smiled and said, "Yes son, whoever comes here with a true heart, Mata fulfills their wishes."

Experiencing Miracles

Devotees have experienced many miracles at Ambaji Shaktipeeth. Once, a poor farmer, whose crops had been destroyed due to drought, came to Ambaji Mata's temple in despair. He prayed with a true heart and pleaded with Mata to relieve him from his pitiable condition. That very night, heavy rain fell, making the entire land green and the farmer's crops flourished. Since then, his faith grew even stronger, and he continued to visit Ambaji Mata every year.

Ambaji's grace is boundless. Many childless couples have been blessed with children through Mata's blessings. Many sick people have been cured of incurable diseases. Ambaji Mata removes every suffering of her devotees and grants them peace and happiness. The temple priests say that many times devotees have had visions of the Goddess in various forms – sometimes she appears as Durga, sometimes as Kali, sometimes as Saraswati. This is a symbol of Ambaji Mata's omnipotence.

Darshan of Ambaji Mata

The Shri Yantra installed in the temple of Ambaji Mata is a symbol of her presence. Devotees worship this Yantra and offer their prayers. The atmosphere becomes devotional with the sound of temple bells, the fragrance of incense and lamps, and the singing of devotees' bhajans. Some devotees have visions of the Goddess in various forms during meditation, which grant them inner peace and knowledge. They consider this experience the most important moment of their lives.

Outside the temple, a devotee, Ramesh, was praying with his eyes closed, as if he was having darshan of Ambaji Mata. He said in his heart, "Mother, give me the strength to overcome all the obstacles in my life. Give me the knowledge to walk on the right path. Bless me so that I can always serve others."
