Varaha Avatar Story – Chapter 5: Restoration and Peace
Restoration and Peace
With the slaying of Hiranyaksha, the terror that pervaded the universe came to an end. Lord Varaha, with his strength and valor, had destroyed evil. Now it was time to revive the Earth, which the demon had pushed into the netherworld. The cries of Mother Earth were about to be silenced, and smiles were about to return to the faces of the gods.
Salvation of the Earth
Lord Varaha, upon whose mighty tusks the Earth rested, moved forward slowly. The netherworld trembled with the fierce vibrations of his body. Amidst the deep darkness, he supported Mother Earth with his divine power. His fierce form had now calmed, like the calm ocean that settles after a great storm. Compassion welled up in the eyes of Lord Varaha, as if he were regaining his lost child.
"Do not fear, Mother Earth," Lord Varaha said in his deep voice, "I will take you back to your rightful place. You will no longer have to fear any demon." He gently lifted the Earth, as a father lifts his child into his lap. Mother Earth, who had been submerged in darkness for centuries, now saw a ray of hope.
Praise by the Gods
As Lord Varaha was re-establishing the Earth in its destined place in the universe, the gods and sages in heaven welcomed him with great joy. The sky echoed with the sound of conch shells and trumpets. Apsaras began to dance, and Gandharvas played sweet music. Cheers for Lord Varaha erupted from every mouth. Indra rose from his throne and, joining his hands, praised Lord Varaha.
"O Lord Varaha," Indra said, "with your infinite grace, you have freed us from the terror of Hiranyaksha. You have saved Mother Earth and established Dharma. We will forever be indebted to you." Other gods also offered their praises, each overwhelmed by the power and mercy of Lord Varaha. "Victory to Varaha Deva, Victory to Varaha Deva." This chant echoed in every direction.
Establishment of Dharma and the Significance of the Varaha Incarnation
After the Earth was restored, Lord Varaha established Dharma. He showed people the path of truth, justice, and compassion. He explained that Dharma is the foundation of life and that happiness and peace can be attained through it. He said that God resides in every being and that we should have love and respect for all.
The significance of Lord Varaha's incarnation is infinite. It is a symbol of the victory of good over evil. It teaches us that when Dharma is in danger, God himself appears in some form to protect it. This incarnation also reminds us that we should always walk the path of truth and help the weak. This form of Lord Varaha will forever reside in the hearts of devotees, continuing to inspire Dharma.
Summary of Chapter 5: Lord Varaha rescued the Earth from the netherworld and restored it to the universe, bringing joy to the gods. This incarnation established Dharma and taught that good always triumphs over evil, and that God is always ready to protect Dharma.
