Miracles and Blessings

After being established as the Goddess of Kadva Patidars, the glory of Umiya Mata began to spread in all four directions. Tales of her compassion and power started being heard in every village and city. Devotees began to flock to the temple of Umiya Mata to find relief from their sorrows and sufferings.

The Plea of Childless Couples

Before the first rays of the sun had even properly spread across the earth, an elderly couple arrived at the gates of Umiya Mata's temple. The pain of being childless for years was clearly visible on their faces. They had heard that Mata Umiya fulfills everyone's wishes, so they had come here with their last hope. The temple courtyard was peaceful, with only the chirping of birds audible. They both slowly moved towards the idol of the Mother and knelt on the ground.

"O Mother Umiya, we have served you all our lives. Our age has advanced, now grant us a child, so that the lamp of our lineage may continue to burn," the old man prayed with a choked voice. Tears were flowing from his wife's eyes. She mentally pleaded with the Mother, "Mother, if you hear our prayer, we will remain the dust of your feet for life."

Blessing of Health to the Sick

In the same village, a young woman had been suffering from a mysterious illness for many months. Doctors and healers were exhausted, but her condition was not improving. Gradually, the young woman was becoming weaker. Finally, her father gave up and decided to dedicate her to the feet of Umiya Mata. He carried her to the temple in a palanquin.

As soon as the young woman was brought before the idol of the Mother, a divine light spread through the temple. The young woman regained consciousness and opened her eyes. She saw that Mata Umiya was smiling. At that very moment, she felt a new energy in her body. She sat up and said, "Father, I am well! Mata Umiya has given me a new lease on life!" By the grace of Mata Umiya, many other sick people in the village also received the boon of health. Discussions of her glory began in every household. People brought their loved ones from far and wide, and they returned healthy by the Mother's blessings.

Liberation from Calamities

The village was struck by drought. The fields were drying up, and people did not even have water to drink. Farmers were disheartened and saw darkness in their future. They decided to pray to Mata Umiya together. They organized a grand yagna in the temple and chanted the mantras of the Mother.

Pleased by their devotion, Mata Umiya showered her grace. Clouds gathered in the sky, and torrential rain began to fall. Rivers and ponds were filled again, and the fields became lush green. The faces of the farmers lit up, and they expressed their gratitude to Mata Umiya. Witnessing this miracle, all the people bowed before the power and love of Umiya Mata. They realized that with true devotion and faith, liberation from every calamity can be achieved. The belief that Mata Umiya's blessings are always with them took root in their hearts. Now, they were waiting for the Mother's message, so that they could know how to move forward in their lives.
