Word-Meaning and Explanation

Shri guru charan saroj raj, nij manu mukuru sudhari. Here 'Saroj Raj' means the dust of lotus-like feet, 'Manu Mukuru' means the mirror-like mind, and 'Sudhari' means to purify. Its meaning is that by cleaning my mirror-like mind with the dust of the lotus-like feet of the Guru, I purify myself.

In the first couplet, Jai Hanuman gyan gun sagar. Jai Kapis tihu lok ujagar.. Hanuman Ji is described as the ocean of knowledge and virtues, who is famous in all three worlds. In the second couplet, Ramdoot atulit bal dhama. Anjani putra Pavansut nama.. he is described as Ram's messenger and the abode of incomparable strength, as well as being called Anjani Putra and Pavansut. In the third couplet, Mahabir Bikram Bajrangi. Kumati nivar sumati ke sangi.. Hanuman Ji is called Mahavir, mighty and Bajrangi, who removes bad intellect and stays with those of good intellect.
