In the previous chapter, we saw how the villagers realized their mistake and humbly asked for forgiveness from Sheetala Mata. Tears of repentance were in their eyes and true devotion in their hearts. Their collective prayer was filled with love and devotion. Now, let's see whether Sheetala Mata accepts their plea for forgiveness or not. Will the villagers be freed from their sins?

Mata's Change of Heart

Silence prevailed in the temple. The fragrance of incense and agarbatti filled the air. The villagers sat cross-legged, their eyes fixed on the idol of Sheetala Mata. Suddenly, a bright light spread within the temple. It felt as if the sun itself had descended upon the earth. The villagers closed their eyes in fear and reverence. The light gradually diminished, and when people opened their eyes, they saw a gentle smile on the face of Mata's idol.

The Pandit Ji, who was sitting at the forefront, said in a trembling voice, "Mata, have you accepted our prayer? Have you forgiven us?" There were apprehensions in his mind, but a ray of hope was also evident on his face. The other villagers also slowly expressed their agreement in support.

Just then, a divine voice echoed from within the temple, "Your prayer filled with repentance has reached me. I am pleased to see the change of heart in you. You people have realized your mistake, that is the most important thing. I forgive you."

Cure of Diseases

As Mata's voice subsided, the villagers felt the pain disappearing from their bodies. The children who had fever and rashes due to Sheetala Mata's wrath began to recover gradually. Laughter once again bloomed on their faces. Those suffering from illness were now breathing peacefully. The entire village became healthy once again.

By the grace of Sheetala Mata, the epidemic that had spread in the village completely ended. Children started playing again, women became busy with their household chores, and men returned to their fields. Life returned to the village once more. Sheetala Mata's blessings enveloped the entire village, and people chanted her glories. Mata's grace was miraculous, transforming despair into hope.

Blessings to the Villagers

Mata's voice was heard again, "Remember that cleanliness and love are the greatest strengths. Always be kind to others and never disrespect nature. Those who remember me with love and devotion, I will always protect them with my grace." Mata blessed the villagers with a healthy and happy life.

The villagers bowed their heads at Mata's feet and thanked her for her blessings. They resolved to always follow the path shown by Mata and never do anything that would harm them or their community. They also knew that this was not just an incident, but a lasting lesson. In the next chapter, we will see what moral lesson we learn from this story and how it inspires future generations.
