Ram Setu Construction Story – Chapter 2: Organization of the Vanara Army

Organization of the Monkey Army
After Hanuman's success in finding Sita Mata, Rama and Lakshmana were discussing with Sugriva on Kishkindha Mountain. A huge army was needed to free Sita Mata from Ravana's captivity. Sugriva accepted the responsibility of gathering the monkey army and immediately decided to start the work of organizing the army.
Gathering of the Monkey Army
The clamor of monkeys echoed in Kishkindha. Sugriva's messengers were sent in all directions. A huge monkey army surged from the mountains, forests and river banks. They were all eager to come together in the name of Rama. There was anger in their minds towards Ravana's atrocities and they were eager to show their strength, so that they could contribute to Rama's work. There were all kinds of monkeys in the monkey army - strong, intelligent, and enthusiastic. Everyone was impressed by their unity and devotion to Rama.
Addressing the monkeys, Sugriva said, "O monkey warriors! Today we have a great task before us. We have to free our mother Sita from Ravana's captivity. Lord Rama trusts us. We have to show our strength and devotion. Come, let us all together conquer Lanka!"
Identification of Nala and Neela
There were two amazing monkeys named Nala and Neela in the monkey army. Both of them were the sons of Vishwakarma and had wonderful knowledge of architecture. They had received this boon that whatever object they put in the water would not sink. Sugriva told Rama about the unique ability of Nala and Neela. Rama looked at them with affection and said, "This divine ability of both of you will be very important for us. With your help, we will build a bridge over the sea." Nala and Neela bowed to Rama and became ready to take on the burden of building the bridge. They were very happy to get the opportunity to serve.
Blessing Nala and Neela, Rama said, "The construction of the bridge will be completed smoothly with the dedication and skill of both of you. This bridge will not only be a way to reach Lanka, but it will also be a symbol of our devotion and determination. Your name will remain immortal for ages." Rama's words further increased the enthusiasm of Nala and Neela.
Preparation for Lanka Journey
After the gathering of the monkey army and the identification of Nala and Neela, preparations for the Lanka journey were in full swing. Sugriva divided the army into different groups and entrusted their leadership to brave monkeys like Angad, Hanuman, Jambavan. Provisions and weapons were arranged. Enthusiasm was at its peak in the monkey army. They were all eager to attack Lanka while chanting the name of Rama. They knew that this war would not be easy, but their love for Rama and their determination to free Sita Mata had made them invincible. Every member of the monkey army was ready to dedicate his life at the feet of Lord Rama.
Before the departure of the monkey army, Rama blessed everyone and said, "This war is between Dharma and Adharma. You all are fighting to protect Dharma. My blessings are with you. Victory will definitely be ours." Rama's words infused new energy into the monkey army. Now they were not just soldiers, they were protectors of Dharma.
