The Beginning of the Search for Sita

After Hanuman's entry into Ravana's Lanka, the story now stands at a crucial turning point. Hanuman's amazing ability and his unwavering devotion to Shri Ram had instilled a new hope. Now, the search for Sita Mata was about to begin, and this journey was not going to be easy.

Hanuman's Arrival and Good News

Flying over the ocean, Hanuman Ji was heading towards Kishkindha. There was an amazing peace in his chest, because he had seen Mata Sita in Ashok Vatika. There were tears in his eyes - not of pain, but of joy. His heart was eager to present this good news at the lotus feet of Ram. The son of the wind seemed to be riding on the chariot of the wind itself, his speed was fast and impenetrable, as if he was born to fulfill a great purpose. He was moving towards his destination, piercing the rays of the sun, passing through the clouds.

Hanuman Ji thought, "How patiently will Lord Ram have to listen to this news? Will he be disturbed to know that Mata Sita is in Ravana's captivity in Lanka? I will have to choose my words carefully, to give him both hope and peace."

The Tale of Sita's Abduction

Lord Ram was anxiously waiting for Hanuman. Sugriva and Lakshman were also worried. Just then a bright light appeared in the sky. Hanuman Ji descended and bowed at the feet of Shri Ram. He slowly gave the details of Sita's abduction - how Ravana deceitfully sent Marich as a golden deer, and how Mata Sita got caught in Ravana's trap due to crossing the Lakshman Rekha. He told how Ravana took Sita to Lanka and imprisoned her in Ashok Vatika.

Hanuman Ji said, "O Lord! Mata Sita is in Ravana's captivity, but her mind and words are dedicated only to your feet. She has rejected Ravana's threats and keeps chanting your name. She has given me her Chudamani, which is proof that I met her and am dedicated to your feet." Seeing that Chudamani, Shri Ram's heart melted. Tears flowed from his eyes, but at the same time there was a firm resolve on his face. This was the influence of Ram, which gave him strength in every difficult moment.

The Decision to Go to Lanka

Hearing the story of Sita's abduction, Ram's anger arose, but he maintained restraint. He said, "Now we have to go to Lanka and free Mata Sita from Ravana's bondage. Ravana has chosen the path of unrighteousness, and he will surely get the fruits of his deeds." He ordered the organization of the monkey army and decided to start preparations for the attack on Lanka. There was confidence and determination in Ram's voice. This was the moment when Ram resolved to bring back his wife as a husband and to fulfill his duty as a king.
