Eternal Love and Devotion

After the divine joy of reunion, a wonderful peace descended upon the land of Vrindavan. Radha and Krishna had become one, their union not just of two souls, but the pinnacle of love and devotion. Now, it was time to describe their glory and understand the significance of their love, so that the entire world could progress on the path of devotion.

Radha-Krishna: Symbols of Love and Compassion

The dust of Vrindavan bore witness to the love of Radha-Krishna. The Yamuna River sang the saga of their love in its calm current, and the wind spread the fragrance of their union in all directions. The Gopis and cowherds, everyone sang praises of their glory, their eyes moist with reverence and devotion. It was as if the entire universe was immersed in that divine love.

Radha says to her friends, "Friends, this love is not ordinary. This is the very form of God. Krishna, my beloved, is the sustainer of the world, and my love is his strength. Our union is the basis of creation." Krishna smiles and says, "Radha, you are my life, my soul. Without you, I am incomplete. Our love is a symbol of surrender and trust towards each other."

The Significance of Radha's Love

Radha's love was not just a woman's love for a man; it was a symbol of complete surrender and devotion to God. She desired Krishna selflessly, without any expectation. Her love was so pure that even God himself was indebted to her love. Radha's love is what makes Krishna 'Krishna'. Her compassion and sacrifice made her revered in the world.

When Arjuna asks Krishna, "O Krishna, what is Radha's importance in your life?", Krishna replies, "Arjuna, Radha is my strength. Her love inspires me to establish righteousness. Without Radha's love, this world would be dull and meaningless. Radha's love is the path of devotion." By Radha's grace, devotees find the way to reach Krishna. The path to liberation is hidden in Radha's love.

The Message of Devotion

The union of Radha and Krishna conveys the message of devotion – a message of selfless love and complete surrender. Their love teaches that to attain God, one must stay away from worldly attachments and devotionally worship Him with complete faith. Radha proved through her love that the simplest way to attain God is through love and devotion. This love should not only be towards Krishna, but towards every living being, because God resides in every living being.
