The Eternal Flame: Victory of Faith

In the previous chapter, we saw how Emperor Akbar attempted to test the power of Mata Jwala Ji, and how the Mother's miracle compelled him to bow down. Akbar's ego was shattered, and the golden umbrella he offered was not accepted in the temple. Now it was time to describe the eternal glory of Jwala Ji, and to show that true faith is the greatest victory.

The Eternal Form of the Flame

The flames burning in the temple had been burning since time immemorial, as if they were a symbol of the universe's energy. The fragrance of incense and camphor filled the air, and a sea of devotion surged in the hearts of the devotees. The priest, Pandit Ramlal, sat in meditation with his eyes closed, a divine radiance of peace and devotion on his face. The stories inscribed on the temple stones had been singing the glory of the Mother for ages.

Pandit Ramlal prayed silently, "O Mother Jwala, You are the beginning, You are the end. Your flame is eternal, and Your grace is boundless. Take us under Your refuge, and show us the right path."

The Glory and Significance of the Temple

The temple of Jwala Ji was not just a place, but an experience. Devotees found peace here, and the difficulties of their lives were removed. People came from far and wide to have darshan of the Mother, bringing their prayers, their hopes. Bhajans and kirtans were constantly being sung in the temple courtyard, and the energy of devotion flowed through the atmosphere.

An old woman, holding her granddaughter's hand, enters the temple. She says softly, "Look, child, this is the court of Mother Jwala. Whatever is prayed here with a true heart, its wish is fulfilled." The granddaughter closed her eyes with devotion.

The Message of the Victory of Faith

The story of Jwala Ji teaches us that faith is a greater power than material strength. Akbar tried to challenge the Mother's power with his authority and wealth, but in the end, he had to admit defeat. The flames of Jwala Ji are still burning today, reminding us that truth never loses, and faith always triumphs. Seeing these flames was an experience that calmed the mind and awakened belief. The fact that millions of people come here every year is proof of how a small flame can become a symbol of infinite faith.
