Chapter 7 of the Draupadi Vastraharan Katha — The Victory of Dharma and Divine Justice. This event illustrates the power of righteousness and its ultimate triumph over unrighteousness, showing that God protects His devotees and punishes evil.

The Victory of Dharma and Divine Justice

The previous chapter concluded with the order of concessions and exile, which filled the hearts of the Pandavas with deep despair. Draupadi, burning in the fire of humiliation, now knew that this was not just an ordinary defeat, but a deep conspiracy against Dharma. The arrogance of the Kauravas and the weakness of Dhritarashtra had shaken the foundation of justice. It remained to be seen if Dharma would be able to protect itself.

The Flame of Humiliation and the Seed of the War of Righteousness

Draupadi's cry echoed in the assembly hall, as if it were not just the cry of one person, but of all womankind. Her hair was unbound, her eyes a mixture of anger and pain. Yudhishthira sat silently, immersed in his dilemma, while wise men like Bhishma Pitamah and Dronacharya were also silent – as if they saw everything but could do nothing. Draupadi, enraged, looked at Duryodhana and roared, "Priest of Adharma, you have not only insulted me, but also Dharma! You will have to bear the consequences! This insult will be the cause of the destruction of this Kuru dynasty!" Her eyes seemed to spew fire, and her words echoed in the assembly hall.

Bhimasena could not control his anger. He took an oath, "I will break the thigh of Duryodhana with my mace, on which he sat and insulted Draupadi! This is my vow, and I will surely fulfill it!" Anger and indignation were also evident on the faces of Arjuna and Nakula-Sahadeva. They all knew that this insult would lead to a great war, a war of righteousness whose consequences would be terrible.

Krishna's Intervention and Divine Protection

As Draupadi's disrobing was happening, and Dushasana was pulling at her clothes, Draupadi called out only one name for her protection – "O Krishna! O Lord of Dwarka, save my honor!" As soon as his call was heard, Krishna's divine power began its work. Draupadi's clothes became endless, Dushasana kept pulling, but the clothes showed no sign of ending. The entire assembly hall was astonished. All the power of the Kauravas was exhausted; they understood that this was no ordinary event, it was divine intervention.

By saving Draupadi's honor, Krishna proved that when Dharma is in danger, He Himself comes to protect it. He also showed that prayer made with true devotion and a true heart is never in vain. Those who commit injustice can never escape, because no deed remains hidden from God's sight. This event was a symbol of the power of Dharma and the destruction of injustice.

The Victory of Dharma and the Warning of Future War

Draupadi's disrobing was a tragedy, a wound that would always remain in the hearts of the Pandavas. This event not only insulted Draupadi, but also insulted Dharma, justice, and humanity. This event had sown the seed of the Mahabharata war, a war that would be fought between truth and falsehood, Dharma and Adharma. Now the Pandavas had to go into exile, but the flame of justice burned in their hearts. They knew that one day they would surely return and take revenge for this insult.

Summary of Chapter 7: This chapter describes the climax of Draupadi's humiliation and Krishna saving her honor. This event becomes the cause of the War of Righteousness and teaches that the end of wrongdoers is certain and God always protects Dharma.
