Dhruv's Heavenly Abode

In the previous chapter, Dhruv was blessed with a vision of Lord Vishnu. Pleased with his devotion and penance, Vishnu decided to grant Dhruv a precious boon. Now, we will see what boon Vishnu gives Dhruv and what changes occur in Dhruv's life. This story illustrates the power of devotion and the importance of determination.

The Boon of an Unwavering Position

Dhruv's heart was filled with joy at the divine vision of Lord Vishnu. Tears of gratitude filled his eyes, and he bowed his head at the Lord's feet. Vishnu said in his calm and sweet voice, "O Dhruv, I am extremely pleased with your devotion and penance. You have bound me with your selfless love. Ask for whatever you desire." Dhruv, who was satisfied merely by the sight of the Lord, did not dare to ask for anything. He simply wanted to remain immersed in the Lord's love and grace.

Dhruv humbly said, "O Lord, I do not need anything. Your vision is everything to me. If you wish to give something, grant me your devotion, so that I may always remain dedicated at your feet." Vishnu smiled and said, "Dhruv, this selfless devotion of yours will give you everything you desire. I grant you that position which will be unwavering and immortal. You will reside in Dhruvaloka and sing my glories for ages to come."

Attainment of Dhruvaloka

As soon as Dhruv heard this boon from Vishnu's mouth, his body was filled with divine light. At that very moment, a wonderful aircraft descended from heaven, and the gods came to take Dhruv. Dhruv bowed to his parents and teachers and boarded the aircraft. The aircraft slowly began to rise towards the sky, and Dhruv looked down. He was saying goodbye to his earth, his home, and his loved ones. There was some pain in Dhruv's heart, but the joy of Vishnu's boon was more powerful than that.

Vishnu, appearing in his divine form, said, "O Dhruv, now you will go to Dhruvaloka, which is situated above the constellations. This realm will be known by your name and will be a testament to your devotion for ages. You will experience peace and joy there, and my grace will always be with you." Dhruv looked at the Lord with reverence and thanked him in his heart. He knew that all this was possible only by the grace of God. His devotion, his determination, and his faith, everything was dedicated at the feet of the Lord.

The Importance of Devotion

Reaching Dhruvaloka, Dhruv saw that it was a wonderful place, where peace and joy resided. There, the gods and sages were singing the glories of the Lord. Dhruv also spent his life absorbed in the devotion of the Lord. Dhruv's story still teaches us the power of devotion and the importance of determination. It also teaches us that God always protects his devotees and definitely gives them the fruits of their actions. Dhruv's story will continue to show the path of devotion for ages to come.
