The merchant was very scared and disappointed. His sleep was disturbed at night, and his mind was restless. He did not understand how he would get out of this crisis.

One night, he saw a sage in a dream. The sage told him, "Son, are you in trouble? Meditate on Mother Baglamukhi. She alone can rescue you from this crisis." The merchant woke up and believed the sage's words. He immediately started the worship and rituals of Mother Baglamukhi. He went to the temple every day and prayed at the Mother's feet.

There was a powerful king who was proud of his strength and splendor. He always belittled others and was immersed in his ego. One day, he heard about Goddess Baglamukhi and decided to insult her. He ordered his courtiers to bring the idol of the Goddess and insult it. As soon as the courtiers touched the idol, they were stunned, and their tongues were tied. The king became angry seeing this, but as soon as he extended his hand towards the idol, his hand stopped there. He could not move forward.

The king realized his mistake. He understood that ego and pride lead to destruction. He immediately asked for forgiveness from Mother Baglamukhi and praised her. The Mother took pity on him and forgave him. The king's ego was destroyed, and he became a kind and just ruler. This was the effect of Mother Baglamukhi that she shattered the king's ego, and truth triumphed.
