When Vishnuchitta made garlands for the Lord, Goda would secretly wear them and admire her reflection in the mirror. She tried to see if she was worthy of Lord Krishna. One day, Vishnuchitta saw Goda wearing the garland and became very angry. He immediately threw away the garland and started making a new one.

That night, Lord Vishnu appeared in Vishnuchitta's dream and said that He wanted the garland worn by Goda. Vishnuchitta realized his mistake and recognized Goda as a true devotee of God.
